We are back!!! OK... we were a bit absent but now we are here again :) I confess it was my fault, because we like to keep this cronologicaly organised and I didn't know where my camera cable was, so we didn't have the photos from our trip to Coimbra!
Dad had to go to Lousã, to a cartoon conference and, as Lousã is near the famous city of Coimbra, he and Mag decided to take us, for Hannah to know.
The first place we visited was the University. Coimbra's University is, probably, the most famous in Portugal, because it was the first. Coimbra is always full of students.
Then, we had luch in downtown and, after a small walk there, dad had to go to the conference and we stayed with Margarida.
We wanted to see Portugal dos Pequeninos, that is kind of a museum where we have Portuguese and colonial arquitecture in small seize. But in January it is closed, so we couldn't go.
So we went to Quinta das Lágrimas that is a very known place, too, because it was there that died D. Inês de Castro. She was the lover of D. Pedro, king of Portugal, prince then. They had a forbidden love because he was married but, after D. Constança, his wife, was dead, they assumed his love. But D. Pedro's father, king Afonso IV didn't accept this love, neither the people, so he order to kill her.
